Course Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Course Overview: The Inclusive Attendance Level 2 accredited programme is designed to enhance staff knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for promoting inclusive attendance practices. This programme focuses on developing a deeper understanding of roles and responsibilities in supporting attendance. Participants will engage with a series of case studies based on real-life examples of how schools have successfully embedded the Inclusive Attendance approach, established a culture of collective responsibility, and significantly improved attendance outcomes.
Course Structure:
- Case Studies: Each case study spans approximately 30 minutes. Participants will explore real-world scenarios and reflect on the strategies used to enhance attendance. Reflection questions within each case study will deepen understanding and encourage participants to think critically about the content.
- Learning Modules: The modules are structured around the Inclusive Attendance Key Strands, which aim to deepen understanding of attendance practices. Each module includes Checking for Understanding questions to ensure comprehension and retention of the material.
- Certification: Successful completion of all modules will lead to a Level 2 Inclusive Attendance CPD certification.
By completing this programme, participants will build on professional learning covered in the Level 1 accredited programme and be better equipped to implement effective attendance strategies, foster a culture of collective responsibility, and improve attendance outcomes in their own schools.
Note: Participants have the freedom to complete the course at their own pace, as each Learning Module functions as a self-contained unit. This adaptable format allows participants to seamlessly integrate the course into their schedules while ensuring comprehensive coverage of the material.
